On COURAGE:
COURAGE is the most important virtue to grasp with your hands fully (Cardinal Virtue #3) to ensure you transition from boy to man,
The 4 Cardinal Virtues are:
- WISDOM
- TEMPERANCE (SELF-DISCIPLINE)
- COURAGE
- JUSTICE
You won’t be able to act COURAGEOUS properly unless you possess enough WISDOM… hence WISDOM is a pre-requisite and the overall most important virtue because it ensures the other 3 are brought to conclusion properly in perpetuity.
So, we started at the top taking the PHOENIX’S approach (Eagle Eye Perspective) and now we are going to get balls deep into COURAGE and get to the ROOT of why it’s the most important CARDINAL VIRTUE to ensure your transition from boy to manhood…
Before we start though, understand this: the opposite of a COURAGEOUS man is a COWARDLY boy. You can be 50 years old and still a COWARDLY boy. I work with multiple BOOMERS in their 60’s who are still COWARDLY boys. It’s okay though, I’m chomping at their tails 😉
One of the main traits of an old boy is passive aggressiveness and avoiding confrontation… remember that… Now let’s start digging into WHY COURAGE IS MOST IMPORTANT
From COURAGE stems CONFIDENCE and from CONFIDENCE stems ACCOUNTABILITY & CONFRONTATION.
First step to becoming COURAGEOUS – hold yourself ACCOUNTABLE at all times. ACCOUNTABILITY!!
Once you set yourself proper and are ACCOUNTABLE everywhere you need to be, you can start holding other people ACCOUNTABLE. This is where the fun begins.
The position the other person is in doesn’t matter, if you are always holding yourself ACCOUNTABLE you can hold others ACCOUNTABLE. The best way to hold others ACCOUNTABLE is CONFRONTATION. You have to learn the art of CONFRONTATION to become COURAGEOUS.
From CONFRONTATION stems LANGUAGE and from LANGUAGE stems RHETORIC & DIALECTIC.
So, if you suck at RHETORIC and don’t understand it, you will never be able to hold people ACCOUNTABLE correctly. You must learn the two forms of language to always be able to hold people accountable correctly.

To conclude – proper speech ensures you are able to hold people accountable properly.
Our country is driven off speech and mainly RHETORIC which is the feminine form of speech. DIALECTIC is the masculine form of speech.
From proper speech stems skills in the art of rhetoric & dialectic. If you are able to hold people accountable properly then you are able to CONFRONT correctly. If you are able to CONFRONT properly then you are holding yourself and others ACCOUNTABLE at all times. If you are always seeking and forcing ACCOUNTABILITY & CONFRONTING properly then you will be CONFIDENT. And if you hold the proper CONFIDENCE, then you are COURAGEOUS. And if you are COURAGEOUS in the ways mentioned then you are on the proper path and either becoming / are a real man.
